• There is no requirement from iPUB that all orders in the warehouse be shipped before closing the ‘month’.
• Only those orders that are shipped, confirmed and posted for the period will be reported for the period ending at month end.
• Therefore a sale is not recognized until it is posted.
  

 

This is more of a business practice issue and not an ipub issue.  Many of our customers in years past cleaned out the warehouse before end of month to get all the sales into the system.

 

The only potential ‘concern’ may be prepaid orders that have cash in the bank but that are not showing on any ‘ cash receipts reports’ or ‘cash with orders’ reports because the order has not been posted.  Nevertheless, we could solve this problem with a report that shows unposted orders with cash yet to be posted.  We do not have such a report at this time 08/26/09.
